Along the way, he has been responsible for steering more than 50 songs to the #1 position on the charts. After universal critical acclaim and months on Billboard and R & R’s Contemporary Jazz charts, his debut, “Up Front” made Brown a star in his own right. Rahn began working behind the scenes producing and writing for other artists. Trumpeter Lin Roundtree and Sax Man Elan Trotman perform “What’s Going On” Live! This amazing duo formed a new group called “New Kidz on the Horns”. “Osborne was born in Providence, Rhode Island. He is the youngest of 12 children and is part of a musical family. He has five brothers and six sisters, some of whom went on to have music careers (his brother Billy was an L.T.D. bandmate). Osborne’s father, Clarence “Legs” Osborne, was a popular trumpeter who played with Lionel Hampton, Count Basie, and Duke Ellington and died when Osborne was thirteen.^[1] Osborne started his music career in 1970 with a band called Love Men Ltd., who would later become known as L.T.D.^[2] The band recorded hit singles such as “(Every Time I Turn Around) Back in Love Again“, “Concentrate on You,” “Love Ballad” and “Holding On (When Love Is Gone)“. At first, Osborne was a drummer, but then became the lead vocalist. He left L.T.D. in late 1980 to start a solo career. His solo success includes five gold and platinum albums.^[1]“

The LA Times: “Maybe you remember comedian Paul Reiser from his roles in “Diner,” “Aliens” or most likely “Mad About You,” where he and Helen Hunt essentially defined sitcom couplehood for much of the ’90s. What you may not consciously remember are Reiser’s musical talents, which were on display in co-writing the show’s piano-pop theme music.

Having studied piano and composition in college, Reiser had been exploring his musical side in the last few years since leaving his TV character Paul Buchman behind, and the results of that tinkering eventually led him to pass his music along to one of his favorite musicians — U.K. favorite Julia Fordham, who  recently relocated to L.A.

What began as a casual collaboration developed into “Unusual Suspects,” a 10-song CD released last month on Muttley Bosco Records. Though Reiser doesn’t seem close to making a career change (another NBC sitcom is planned for 2011), his musical side-project has been gathering steam thanks in part to the song “UnSung Hero,” a heartfelt tribute to families of troops stationed abroad that the group recently performed live on “The Tonight Show.”
